WaiBOP Football launches its inaugural women in leadership programme

WaiBOP Football invite applications for their inaugural regional women in leadership programme.

The programme runs in partnership with NZ Football and is part of WaiBOP Football’s commitment to NZ Football’s Aotearoa United: Legacy Starts Now plan.

The federation says the programme is for emerging leaders in the WaiBOP Football community, including women currently involved on club committees, or as administrators, volunteers, coaches, referees, team managers, or similar roles in football.

“The programme uses human-centred leadership frameworks and practices, and focuses on the learning gained through the journey, rather than the outcome,” the federation says.

“It amplifies the strengths of each individual, offering a safe environment for participants to begin and build their leadership journey while strengthening their confidence, values, and self-belief.”
