Late goal sinks Futsal Ferns’ finals hopes at Tri-Nation tournament

posted in: Futsal, News

A goal in extra time has put New Zealand out of the final of the PFF Women’s Tri-Nation Futsal Invitational tournament in Manila.

The Philippines scored with two minutes on the clock to beat the Futsal Ferns 1-0 in the play-off to decide who would face Indonesia in Sunday’s final.

The result turned around Friday’s outcome when the Ferns beat the Philippines 4-1 in group play.
