A hat-trick from Garbhan Coughlan led Cashmere Technical to a 4-2 win in their Friday night derby with rivals Christchurch United.
The result ends Christchurch United’s hopes of a Men’s National League/Chatham Cup double, and means the Grand Final will be a repeat of last season’s showpiece between Auckland City and Wellington Olympic.
Technical’s win takes them into third place, above Christchurch United on goal difference, with one round of competition left.
Meanwhile, Wellington Phoenix extended their unbeaten start to the men’s A-League to four games with a 1-1 draw at Melbourne Victory.
