Auckland United forward Rene Wasi has been named the Player of the Match for her display in her side’s 2-0 Grand Final win against Southern United.
Wasi (21) used her speed to great effect in the match at Auckland’s Go Media Stadium Mt Smart.
The New Zealand U-20 player joined Auckland United this season from Northern United, winning Lotto NRFL Women’s Premier League titles with both clubs.
