Ferns captain Ali Riley ruled out of second international against Colombia

Football Ferns skipper Ali Riley will miss New Zealand’s friendly international against Colombia on Wednesday after picking up an injury in training.

Riley (36) was left out of the Ferns squad for the first game played on Sunday, and NZ Football have confirmed she’ll miss the next game in the two-match series as well.

Defender Grace Neville was also unable to join the Ferns squad for Sunday’s game due to a medical reason, NZ Football said.

Rebekah Stott took the captain’s armband for Sunday’s 0-0 draw between New Zealand and the FIFA Women’s World Cup quarter-finalists.
