Auckland clubs East Coast Bays and Fencibles United will meet in the final to decide who will become New Zealand’s men’s U-17 champions for 2023.
The two sides won their semi-finals on Sunday morning, securing their berths in the Championship final to be played at 2pm.
East Coast Bays beat Canterbury’s Nomads United 5-4 on penalties after the sides were tied 1-1 in ordinary time.
Fencibles beat Eastern Suburbs 1-0, thanks to a Nicholas Rooney goal.

In the Plate final, Melville United will meet Bay Olympic after both sides won their semi-finals after penalty shootouts.
