Whanganui Athletic have appointed Quinn Mailman as the club’s operations manager.
The club says the new role will allow it “to continue growing in a positive direction and increasing the product and opportunities throughout our community.”
“The introduction of the operations manager role will be a massive relief to the volunteers of the club in our pursuit of achieving the club’s ambitious and achievable goals,” the club said via its social media channel.
“Our volunteers are prepared to continue these efforts, and will remain the backbone of our club’s future progress. However, the demands of running such a big and successful club are now becoming more and more apparent.
“Whanganui Athletic Football Club have been travelling in a clear upward trajectory over the past six years, and feel that the employment of an operations manager will drive success even further.
“The club will be better able to organise both the senior and junior club and provide a more clear direction in both our men’s and women’s pathways.”
