Papakura City have granted Life Membership to club secretary Cheryl Derrick.
President David Johnson told members via the club’s social media channel:
“Cheryl is now part of three generations involved in the club; two of those generations have seen involvement in key positions at the club previously with Mum, Bev.
“Who knows? Maybe young Lilly or Noah could follow in the years to come.
“Cheryl, we thank you for your tireless commitment, while enduring many tough years of hard work. You now help shape someone else’s beginnings, and positive experiences at the club we love.
“It is all selfless, but you now have a hand in every single member of this vastly growing organisation and for that we thank you.”
