South Auckland Rangers have appointed Brock Radich as the club’s first-team head coach for next year’s NRF League One campaign.

Radich (33) has held coaching roles at a number of clubs in Auckland and the Waikato in recent year, working with men’s and women’s teams.

Most recently, he’s been an assistant coach with the men’s and women’s teams at Eastern Suburbs.

The women’s team won the 2022 Women’s National League and finished second in this year’s Lotto NRFL Women’s Premier League.

The Suburbs men finished second in the Northern League, going unbeaten through their season.

Radich, who holds an OFC-NZF C-Licence and is seeking his B-Licence, was previously first-team assistant coach for Northern League side West Coast Rangers, after stints as a coach at Fencibles United, Manurewa and Hamilton Wanderers.

Radich takes over from Geoff Cooper, who stepped down at the end of last season.

Rangers came runners-up in League One last term, and reached the last 32 of the Chatham Cup.
