Football Fern Rebekah Stott has rescued a point for women’s A-League leaders Melbourne City with a superbly-taken goal against Central Coast Mariners.
Trailing 1-0 with 12 minutes left, Stott got the ball 25 metres out, swivelled and fired a controlled shot that dipped beneath the crossbar.
The point ensured Melbourne City stayed top of the table, at least till Perth Glory play Sydney City on Monday.
