A goal by Wellington Phoenix forward Kosta Barbarouses has been nominated for the men’s A-League’s Goal of the Week.
The goal, scored in his side’s 3-0 win against the Macarthur Bulls in Monday’s Round 8 match, was scored after build-up play of 25 passes, the most for any goal scored in this season’s competition.
The move involved every player in the Phoenix.
The goal is one of four nominated for the weekly Isuzu-UTE A-League award.
