New Zealand clubs to learn OFC Champions League draw on Wednesday

New Zealand’s contenders for the men’s and women’s OFC Champions Leagues will learn what fixtures lie ahead when three sets of draws are made on Wednesday.

The Oceania Football Confederations will stage the draws on the afternoon of Wednesday January 17, 2024.

The three draws will be live-streamed by OFC from the OFC Home of Football — Te Kahu o Kiwa in Auckland.

Draw 1: OFC Women’s Champions League

This draw, at 1pm (NZT), will be for the tournament to be held in the Solomon Islands from March 10-23, 2024.

By winning the 2023 Women’s National League, Auckland United earned the right to represent New Zealand at the tournament.

Draw 2: OFC Men’s Champions League (qualifying)

At 3pm (NZT), OFC will announce the qualifying draw for fixtures that will determine which clubs will qualify to play in the league.

New Zealand will be represented by either Wellington Olympic or Auckland City who will play a two-legged qualifying tie in February/March.

Draw 3: OFC Men’s Champions League

Following the qualifying draw, at 3.30pm (NZT), OFC will conduct the draw for the OFC Men’s Champions League tournament to be hosted by Tahiti from May 11-24, 2024.
