Applications close on February 2 for development role at Rosylyn Wakari

Otago’s Roslyn Wakari seek applications for the vacant role of football development officer.

The role, initially on a one-year contract, has become available with the departure of Jake Ward who moves to Wellington.

Role requirements

  • Primarily leading player and coach development programmes in the junior and youth space.
  • Running skills centres, holiday programmes, one-on-one sessions, regional/national tournament participation, academy and in schools programmes.
  • Coaching players and coaches in the fundamentals of football to promote a passion for the sport at our club and in the local community.

The club says the role “suits a go-getter, positive and energetic person passionate about football and growing local talent through a range of pathways.”

Roslyn Wakari says the role has a competitive salary package, with vehicle, fuel card, office, club apparel, laptop, phone subsidy and PD support.
