Players sought to represent New Zealand at university futsal champs in China

Women and men players are sought to represent New Zealand at the FISU World University Futsal Championships to be held in Shanghai in June 2024.

NZ Football seek expressions of interest from futsal players who want to be considered for men’s and women’s teams to compete at the tournament.

The tournament runs from June 10-16, 2024 and is expected to have 16 teams in both the women’s and men’s sections of competition.

Players must be eligible to represent New Zealand and meet University and Tertiary Sport NZ / FISU’s eligibility requirements to be available for selection.

Register your interest by completing the following online form by February 24, 2024:

The last FISU championships were held in Portugal in July 2022, and New Zealand entered teams in the men’s and women’s competitions.
