The Wellington Phoenix lead at the top of the men’s A-League has been cut to three points after a scoreless draw in Perth.

Nearest rivals Central Coast Mariners beat Melbourne Victory 1-0 on Sunday to gain ground on the Phoenix whose unbeaten run has extended to nine games.

Meanwhile, Tauranga’s Mercury Arena hosted 13 matches in the women’s and men’s Ford Futsal Superleagues over the weekend.
