WaiBOP Football will hold a two-hour workshop on Saturday March 2, 2024, offering women and girls the chance to upskill as referees.
Describing the workshop as suitable for mother/daughter combos, or for solo attendance, WaiBOP Football say:
“For the women, there will be the opportunity to become a game day leader (which will support your ability to co-ordinate your children’s football games), while the girls will have the opportunity to have a go at fun with flags (a fun practical experience that goes over the basics of using a whistle and flags in football).
“This workshop welcomes wāhine of all ages!”
