Members of Gisborne Thistle will hold a series of events over Easter 2024 to celebrate the club’s 100-year anniversary.
More than a hundred past and present members have registered to take part in the celebrations which include a mix and mingle at the club, a dinner at the Gisborne Cosmopolitan Club and a series of games/events at Childers Road.
Planned events include:
Good Friday — March 29, 2024
- 4pm – midnight. Registrations on Friday night.
- Mix and mingle — food and bar open.
- Entry $25 per person.
Saturday March 30, 2024
- Registrations on Saturday morning before first team’s game at 1pm.
- Games at Childers Road Reserve start 10 am.
Saturday evening event 5pm
Gisborne Cosmopolitan Club.
- $50 per person includes smorgasbord dinner.
- Live band Naked Gun.
Easter Sunday — March 31, 2024
Events Childers Road start at 10am. and through the day.
Register if wanting to play games, plus photos of old teams.
Evening event $25 per person entry close midnight.
