Northern Region Football have announced three new staff members will join the federation in early 2024.
The new team members are:
Jade Isbister — Area Manager, Whangārei/Kaipara
“Jade joins with extensive experience in the sports sector, including at Sport Northland,” NRF says.
“She has a passion for health and fitness, representing New Zealand in Powerlifting and competing nationally at Jiu-Jitsu and co-founding KeriKeri’s Strength Works Gym.
“Jade has a coaching and coach education background and is passionate about sport participation and girls and women engagement — we’re delighted to have her on the team and she started in our Whangārei Northland office in late January.”
Competition Support Officer – Tyler Lewis
“Tyler’s role provides administrative and technical support for our competitions team, along with youth participation, game day experiences and key competition events, community activations including futsal competitions and advanced coach education.
“He has a background in tennis management, joining from Mission Bay Tennis Club, and started with us in early February.”
Northland Programmes Officer — Gwen Smith
“Gwen joins us from Sport Northland where she was team lead of the BikeReady Team, running schools cycle training and delivering this programme across Te Tai Tokerau. Experienced in administration, youth advocacy, team collaboration and safety, Gwen will join us in mid-March.”
NRF farewells Katie Tahana
Head of Women’s and Girls’ Football – Leverage and Legacy Lead Katie Tahana left NRF in December.
The federation will provide an update later about recruiting for the role.
