Hamilton Wanderers defensive midfielder Xavier Pratt has moved to Queensland to join National Premier League 1 club Gold Coast United.
Pratt (28) was an established national league player in the Waikato, turning out for Hamilton Wanderers and WaiBOP United, and had a spell at the Wellington Phoenix without breaking into the first team.
Gold Coast United withdrew from the A-League in 2012 and has rebuilt since, and now competes in Queensland’s top tier competition.
In 2022, Gold Coast United and Papakura City announced they had formed a strategic partnership.
Pratt’s move to Gold Coast United was helped by the Lee Fratelli agency, based in Auckland/Sydney.
