WATCH: Ferns head coach Jitka Klimková’s post-match interview

New Zealand women’s national team head coach Jitka Klimková says a half-time discussion led to her team’s strong finish against Thailand in the first game of their two-match series in Christchurch.

Going into the match 1-0 ahead, Klimková says the team discussion at the break worked on how to push their defensive block higher up the pitch, and how they would get their wide players into 1-v-1 situations.

“We scored exactly two goals like that, and that’s always good for the coaches to see that if we talk about a few things that we can improve the Improvement on the field,” Klimková told NZ Football in her post-match interview.
