All Whites midfielder Marko Stamenić books his place at another cup final

New Zealand international Marko Stamenić is heading to the Serbian Cup final with his Red Star Belgrade side.

Stamenić (22) and his teammates booked a place in the final by beating Serbian SuperLiga rivals Partizan 2-0 in the semi-final.

The midfielder will be looking for back-to-back cup winner’s medals after helping his previous club, FC Copenhagen, win their ninth Danish Cup, before signing with Crvena Zvezda in mid-2023.

Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) will face another SuperLiga club, Vojvodina, in the cup final on May 24, 2024.

The two finalists also meet next Monday (April 29, NZT) in the SuperLiga play-offs.
