FIFA have confirmed they have two proposals that meet the minimum requirements for hosting the next Women’s World Cup in 2027.
Following an assessment of the bids, including inspection visits of the potential host countries’ facilities, FIFA has made public their bid evaluation report.
Based on the findings of the report approved by the Bid Evaluation Task Force, the two bids to meet the minimum hosting requirements are:
- Joint bid by the Royal Belgian Football Association, the German Football Association and the Royal Netherlands Football Association.
- Single bid by the Brazilian Football Association.
The Bid Evaluation Task Force included FIFA Chief Women’s Football Officer Sarai Bareman, from New Zealand.
The United States and Mexico withdrew their joint bid to host the tournament in April 2024.

FIFA are expected to announce the successful bidder on May 17, 2024, after an open vote by their 211 member associations.
The bids will be submitted to the 74th FIFA Congress in Bangkok where the voting results will be declared.
