Tauranga-born striker Riley Bidois has scored his first goal in the USL Championship for his club Loudoun United.
Bidois (22) joined the American second-tier club in February 2024 on a two-year contract, and has been waiting for his chance to get on the scoresheet.
It came in the Virginia club’s 3-0 win against Monterey Bay, with a deft chip into the net.

Bidois, who emerged as a talented youth player with Tauranga City, came to prominence in 2023 when he scored five goals for the national U-23 team in their 9-0 win against Fiji, securing a spot for New Zealand at the Paris Olympics.
In 2019, Bidois left the Bay of Plenty for Wellington where he played for Central League club Lower Hutt City, and then the Phoenix reserves.
Bidois joined Loudoun United after a spell with Australia’s Dandenong City who play in Victoria Premier League 2.
