England international forward Alessio Russo’s powerful header was enough to earn her Arsenal club a 1-0 win against the women’s A-League All Stars at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium.
With half-time approaching, Russo steered the ball into the net to the delight of Arsenal’s fans.
Football Ferns Michaela Foster, Rebekah Stott and Hannah Wilkinson all featured for the All Stars during the match.
