All Whites coach shares his thinking with Friends of Football audience

Incoming All Whites coach Danny Hay has given supporters an insight to the way he plans to approach his new role.

Making his first appearance at a public event since becoming national coach, Hay was relaxed and open in an interview with MC and Friends of Football committee member Andrew Dewhurst.

The event – An Evening with Danny Hay – was organised by Friends of Football and held at Mt Wellington’s Bill McKinlay Park on October 30, 2019.

The hour-long presentation followed a day’s work at the All Whites training session, shortly before the squad was due to head for Europe and friendly internationals against the Republic of Ireland and Lithuania.

Entry to the event was free-of-charge to Friends of Football members while non-members paid $10 on the door.

Friends of Football chair Earle Thomas thanked Hay for giving up his time and for being so open with his answers to questions from Dewhurst and the floor.
