The last four teams in this summer’s ISPS Handa Premiership will face off in this weekend’s semi-finals – with an Auckland club sure to go through to the Grand Final.
After a delay caused by COVID-19 alert level restrictions, the semi-finalists were established when Eastern Suburbs beat Hawkes Bay United 2-1 in midweek, the last fixture of the competition’s 14-round schedule.
That meant the Lily Whites took the fourth spot, and a crack at Auckland City in the semi-finals.
Semi-finals

David Farrington Park, Wellington
Auckland City v Eastern Suburbs
Sunday March 14, 2021. Kick off 2.05pm

Attendance at the second semi-final will depend on the alert level for Auckland on matchday.
If Auckland has returned to level 1, Kiwitea St will be open to the public. If Auckland remains at level 2, the match will be played behind closed doors.
Grand Final
The winners of the semi-finals will play on Sunday March 21 at a venue still to be confirmed.
In the event that the semi-finals are unable to be played due to changes in COVID-19 alert levels, NZ Football have advised that the Grand Final would be played between the top two teams from the round-robin, Auckland City and Team Wellington.
