A stunning first-half goal from distance by midfielder Reno Piscopo has inspired Wellington Phoenix’s first back-to-back win in a year.
The Phoenix beat Perth Glory 3-0 in the Hyundai A-League on Sunday March 7 at Woollongong, the Wellington-based club’s temporary home.
For his 30th-minute goal, Piscopo took possession in the centre circle, drove to the edge of the box and thumped the ball just inside the far post.
