Danielle Canham celebrated her 17th birthday with four goals for Northern Rovers whose 5-0 win against Tauranga City keeps them clear at the top of the Lotto NRFL Women’s Premier League.

After a scoreless first half, Canham cut loose, scoring a hat-trick in little more than quarter of an hour at McFetridge Park.

Courtney Noble chipped in with her side’s fourth of the day before Canham put the icing on her cake with another with five minutes to go.

The win keeps Rovers nine points clear, and with a game in hand over nearest rivals Western Springs.
