Napier City Rovers plan an anniversary reunion and dinner in April 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the club’s formation.
The dinner will be held on Easter Saturday, April 8, at Napier’s War Memorial Centre, a feature event for the reunion that will be held April 7-9.
The club says it will welcome back some of their past star players for interviews on the stage, with the first confirmed guest being goalkeeper Mark Paston whose penalty save helped the All Whites get to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
The current club was formed by the merger of Napier Rovers and Napier City on February 6, 1973.
