It’s only round two but already, there’s a top-of-the-table match in the new-look Women’s National League.
First-round winners Western Springs and Canterbury United Pride will go head-to-head at Seddon Fields on Saturday.
Both won convincingly the previous weekend and Springs go into the game with form that’s been improving since their return to the artificial turf in Westmere after their pitches underwent refurbishment.
Springs beat Southern United 6-1, with Sofia Garcia scoring a hat-trick.
