Uni-Mount Bohemian have beaten Lynn-Avon United 2-1 in the final game of the NRF Men’s Championship for both clubs.
The result was somewhat academic as the clash between the competition’s two bottom sides had no impact on final table placings, but pride was at stake.
Playing under the lights at Bill McKinlay Park, Uni-Mount went ahead in the 45th minute through Erol Arsian.
Five minutes into the second spell, Tairo Mashonganyika doubled the home’s lead.
Lynn-Avon substitute Callum McGregor reduced the deficit with a goal in the 79th minute but the points went to Uni-Mount.
