Cambridge seek expressions of interest for men’s first team coaching role

Cambridge FC have invited expressions of interest for the position of men’s first team coach ahead of the 2023 season.

Next year, the Waikato club will play in the Lotto NRFL Southern Conference, after the end-of-season restructure of the first/second division tiers.

The club says it’s about to embark on a major pitch re-development which will deliver four new playing surfaces.

In its notice seeking expressions of interest, the club says it has first-class facilities and “a proud and passionate following”.

Role requirements

“The successful senior coach will work closely with our dedicated committee members and volunteers to ensure success for our players, members and volunteers now and into the future.” the club says.

The successful candidate would ideally need to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • C-Licence accreditation with NZ Football.
  • Proven ability to lead and guide coaches.
  • Assist the club in identifying and recruiting new players and support staff.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Contribute to the growth of our junior programme.

How to register expressions of interest

Expressions of interest can be forwarded to the club’s Technical Director, Ricki Herbert via email at [email protected] or [email protected] for any enquiries.
