The independent Colo Boys club will play at Puhoi Sports Club from next season under an agreement reached by the two parties.
Announcing the move, Colo Boys said:
“Rest assured, while we will play under the Puhoi-Colo Boys umbrella, Colo Boys Football Club will continue to operate as is, with our independent funding and committee, and will work with Puhoi SC to offer our football at Saturday League level.
“The expected starting point is NRF Division 1 with a view to grow into a NRFL Northern Conference side in coming years.
Stay tuned for more exciting announcements in the coming weeks.”
Head coach will be Luke McIntyre and assistant coach will be Jake Barker, who joins from Te Atatu.
Defender Dylan Rickaby will be club captain. He and midfielder Luke Robinson join the side for next season, having played with coach McIntyre at Puhoi from 2018-2021.
