Second English club ‘shows interest’ in Melville United striker Oliver Colloty

English League One club Fleetwood Town has joined Sheffield Wednesday in ‘showing interest’ in New Zealand U-19 international Oliver Colloty.

The 19-year-old Melville United striker has been training with League One club Sheffield Wednesday, though reports last week suggested he was battling a hamstring injury.

However, football league writer Alan Nixon reports that Fleetwood Town have started to track Colloty’s progress, according to Football League World.

Colloty is in the United Kingdom in search of a professional contract after leading the goalscoring for Melville Untied in the Northern League and National League last year, and after scoring nine goals for New Zealand at the OFC U-19 Championship.
