New head coach Rudy Mozr has named his senior coaching staff for Bay Olympic’s 2023 Northern League season.

He will be assisted by Peter Smith, James Pritchett and Alan Shaker in the coaching of the Premier team, while Shaker and David White will lead the U-23 Development team.

Adam Bannister and Jon Gwin will train and develop Olympic’s goalkeepers while Jozef Fleming will join the club as its strength and conditioning trainer.

Andrew Newmarch and Green Bay Physiotherapy will provide physiotherapy services.

Mozr said: “I’m very happy to bring in members I’ve worked with previously and am excited that James and Jon are continuing, (and) very pleased to have David returning and to have the expertise and energy of Andrew.

“We have a lot of experience and skill in our group which will greatly benefit the development of the players in our squad.

“I am also looking forward to building strong links and supporting the club’s youth development programme, working with Mark Tully and his team in 2023.”

Pre-season training for the Premier and Development teams starts on 18 January 18.

Bay Olympic will start pre-season training on Wednesday January 18 (6.30pm, Crum Park) for their Northern League and U-23 men’s squads.

All players wanting to participate in training must contact the coach prior to the start of pre-season (or before they would like to come to join). Contact Rudy Mozr on Email: rmozr@bayolympic.co.nz.
