Former Auckland City striker Micah Lea’alafa set to sign for Australian club

Former Auckland City striker Micah Lea’alafa is about to be unveiled as a signing for National Premier League – South Australia side FK Beograd in Adelaide.

Lea’alafa (31), who is the captain of the Solomon Islands national team, played for Auckland City between 20016-19, and also turned out for Manukau United and Central United.

Since then, he has been playing in South Africa and in the Solomon Islands, and mixing his football with futsal, in which he’s represented his country at four FIFA futsal World Cups.

The Solomon Star reports Lea’alafa is due to fly to Adelaide where he will be named as Beograd’s latest signing.
