New Zealand have climbed five places to 100th spot in the official FIFA world rankings of international men’s teams.

The April 2023 rankings show the All Whites’ results against China in the March international window had helped lift the side’s rating.

A year ago, the All Whites were in 101st position after the FIFA World Cup Oceania qualifiers in March 2022.

After losing to Costa Rica in the June World Cup play-off, New Zealand fell to 103rd.

New Zealand’s position was 122nd when Danny Hay took over as head coach in late 2019.

The highest position achieved by New Zealand has been 47th (in August 2002); the lowest has been 161st (April-May 2016).

Ferns in 25th place

The Football Ferns are rated the 25th best women’s team, according to FIFA’s latest rankings.
