South Auckland Rangers have launched their club’s first football academy for boys and girls aged 5-12.
The SAR academy will hold two days of sessions for young players on April 18-19, 2023, at Rongomai Park, Ormiston.
The club promises UEFA-standard coaching and for the first two-day session, a special award will be made to the child considered the most committed during the programme.
The winner will get a one-on-one training session with a former Manchester United academy player.
“This opportunity is open to boys and girls across Auckland from all backgrounds.” the club says.
“Mums, dads and family members are welcome to join us for the day and can relax in the clubhouse, where light refreshments will be served. Come and be part of the South Auckland Rangers family for this special two-day event.”
