Jonno Ross — a football writer for the NZ Football Foundation and Friends of Football — went sideline at Auckland’s Eden Park to meet fans and players at the 2-2 draw between the Wellington Phoenix and Brisbane Roar.
The men’s A-League game, played on April 16, 2023, gave Phoenix fan Ross the chance to get out among the people in a report for Sky Sports’ show The Kiwi Football Fix.
