Auckland Sunday League side Rapa Nui FC have drawn high-flying East Coast Bays in the first round of the Chatham Cup.
The South Auckland side beat WaiBOP League One club West Hamilton 3-1 in the preliminary round to earn their trip to Bay City Park.
East Coast Bays are unbeaten at the top of Lotto NRFL Men’s Championship, providing Rapa Nui with a juicy cup tie.
Meanwhile, the Royal New Zealand Navy side will host Championship side Fencibles, a fitting game for football’s oldest club cup competition, playing for the Chatham Cup trophy donated by the navy a century ago.
First-round games will be played over the weekend of May 13-14, 2023.
