Late goal keeps league leaders Christchurch United’s winning streak intact

A Jago Godden goal six minutes into stoppage time provided Christchurch United’s eighth successive win on Friday night to keep the club top of the Southern League.

United have a 100% winning record in the competition and are five points clear of nearest rivals Cashmere Technical who beat Ferrymead Bays 6-2 under lights.

Coastal Spirit moved into fourth place with a 3-2 win at Selwyn United.
