Auckland City captain Cam Howieson and striker Ryan De Vries have collected individual honours for their performances at the OFC Champions League tournament in Vanuatu.
Auckland City won their 11th OFC title when they beat Fiji’s Suva 4-2 in extra time on Saturday (May 27), to qualify for December’s FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia.
At the end of the tournament, All Whites midfielder Howieson was named Golden Ball winner of the tournament, while De Vries won the Golden Boot for his goalscoring exploits which included key goals in the final and semi-final.
Suva goalkeeper Akuila Mateisuva was awarded the Golden Glove.
