Waikato referee CK Kawana-Waugh has made his second appearance at the FIFA U-20 Men’s World Cup, in the middle for England’s 0-0 draw with Iraq.

Late in the first half, Kawana-Waugh awarded a penalty to England after checking the pitchside monitor to review a collision between England’s Sam Edozie and an Iraqi defender.

Goalkeeper Hussein Hasan saved the resulting penalty.

The result enabled England to top its group and they will play Italy in the Round of 16 on Wednesday (NZT).
