LISTEN: Radio coverage of FIFA Women’s World Cup to include top players

Legendary New Zealand striker Wendi Henderson, 78-cap Fern Anna Green and the Wellington Phoenix women’s team captain Lily Alfeld will help radio listeners enjoy the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

They have been confirmed as key members of the broadcast team to cover the tournament for SENZ (Sports Entertainment Network).

All Ferns games will be broadcast in full across the SENZ network, and fans can listen to all 64 games at the tournament through the SENZ online app.

Alongside the trio of women’s football experts, the broadcast team also includes commentators Daniel McHardy, Riccardo Ball and Sam Hewat.

Lily Alfeld

Goalkeeper Lily Alfield missed the last women’s A-League season through injury but her off-field leadership was inspiring.
