Auckland City and Eastern Suburbs have continued their unbeaten streaks with midweek wins in the Northern League.
The Navy Blues beat Hamilton Wanderers 2-0 while Suburbs beat Takapuna 5-2 at North Harbour Stadium.
Both sides remain unbeaten after 18 rounds, with only goal difference separating them.
Wednesday’s third scheduled game, between Birkenhead United and bottom-placed Manukau, was abandoned after seven minutes when a local power failure caused problems for floodlighting at Shepherd’s Park.
