UPDATED: Admission free for Olympic qualifying tournament, except for final

Spectators will get free entry for all games at the Olympic Games qualifier tournament in Auckland, except for the final at North Harbour Stadium.

Tournament organisers have confirmed admission is free for group games and the semi-finals during the tournament that will decide which nation will represent Oceania at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

New Zealand’s U-23 team were to face PNG at Mt Smart’s Go Media Stadium at 3pm on Sunday, in the opening game at the OFC Olympic qualifiers tournament, but the match was called off the day before.

Tickets for the tournament final on Saturday September 9 will go on sale on Monday August 28 at 9am.

OFC Olympic qualifying tournament

The OFC Men’s Olympic Qualifier 2023 will be played in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland from August 27 – September 9, 2023 with matches at Go Media Stadium Mt. Smart, The Trusts Arena and North Harbour Stadium.

Group B

  • Tonga
  • Samoa
  • Vanuatu
  • Solomon Islands

Tournament format

Group fixtures will be staged at Mt Smart’s Go Media Stadium and Henderson’s Trusts Arena, kicking off at 12pm and 3pm (NZT).

The two group winners and runners-up will meet in semi-finals, kicking off at 3pm and 7pm (NZT).

The final will be played at North Harbour Stadium, Albany.
