Fencibles United will play the Wellington Phoenix Academy in Sunday’s final of the U-17 Boys’ National Championship.
Fencibles beat Birkenhead United 1-0 on Saturday to reach the final while the Phoenix beat last year’s winners Auckland United 4-1.

Birkenhead United will play Auckland United in the play-off for third place.
Meanwhile, South Island teams won the opening games on day two at the tournemnt being held at Upper Hutt.
Nomads United and Selwyn United beat their Wellington opponents and will meet in Sunday’s play-off for 5th place.
