Garcia claimed the 2023 award, a goal ahead of New Zealand U-20 international Charlotte Lancaster, who scored eight for Eastern Suburbs, and Kaley Ward who found the net eight times for CF Waterside Karori.

The Golden Boot excludes any goals scored in Sunday’s Grand Final between Auckland United and Southern United at Auckland’s Go Media Stadium Mt Smart.

Meanwhile, the Golden Boot for the Men’s National League has been shared by Cashmere Technical’s Garbhan Coughlan and Gianni Bouzouki for the second year in a row.
