23’ — Auckland United break the deadlock with Rene Wasi passing the ball to Alexis Cook who smashes it into the net. Score: 1-0.
52’ — Hislop shoots from long-range but Auckland ‘keeper Aimee Hall produces a great save.
57’ — Southern ‘keeper Lauren Paterson punches a cross out of the area but Auckland’s Maisy Dewell chips it back over the head of defenders and Paterson for her side’s second goal. Score: 2-0.
58’ — Hislop almost levels when she cuts onto her left foot in the box and curls the ball just past the far upright.
61’ — Chelseas Elliott almost gets a third for Auckland with a free kick on the left side towards the touchline but Paterson does well to get a strong right hand to it.
