Young Auckland goalkeeper Freddie Martin is training with Scottish Premiership club St Mirren in the hope of landing his first professional contract.
Martin (19) has been with the club since September, training with the first-team squad as its third-string ‘keeper.

St Mirren is the same club where All Whites striker Alex Greive has broken into professional football since joining from Birkenhead United last year.
Martin left New Zealand in search of a goalkeeping career after playing for Takapuna in their Northern League relegation season last year.
He had joined Takapuna from East Coast Bays where he had played youth and senior football, after playing junior football at Greenhithe.
Martin shares the same UK-based agent, Prince Lamona, as Greive and former Birkenhead United player Corban Piper, who played last season for League of Ireland first division club Wexford.
Lamona also represents Birkenhead United forward Curtis Hughes (19) who will trial with Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock in December.
